Yep, there are 3 of them. They are pretty good. I haven't read them in a while and am going back and re-reading now.

almost through reading "Chocolat" by Joanne Harris. I watched the movie and thought it was cute. The movie is so much different than the book. Same characters and general plot/storyline, but still very much different

my favourite was lord of the rings by Tolken. but the one I am into at the moment is a Black Lace omnibus with Gothic Blue by Portia Da Costa.
Aria Appassionata by Juliet Hastings, and Ace of Hearts by Lisette Allen.

Wow what a read the first one is a good one to get things in the mood! soft lighting and silky satin sheets and Wahay!!!

gosh, I was really disappointed in the movie -- but then I read the book first and resented how they changed a religious conflict into a political one... spineless bastards!

on the other hand, Monsieur Depp is very easy on the eyes

Oh yes. I also liked a couple of her other books written under Ann Rampling, "Exit to Eden" and "Belinda". Pretty interesting reads!

The book is so much better than the movie (as I always find the case to be).

If you've finished with Chocolat & haven't had enough of Harris, try Holy Fools. It's brilliantly written - I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I am on chapter 4 of shelters of stone. its ok but after valley of horses found the books very repetitive. but i'll still carry on reading

You know, I've never done much bedtime reading. At least, not since my mom or dad would read me a bedtime story before bed.

Since Brandi's gone, I can afford to buy a thing or two every now and then and still be able to pay the rent. So I bought a CD boombox for the bedroom with a remote control. Now, when I go to bed, I put on a CD, and usually sometime during the CD I fall asleep. I know this works, because I used to do that with the computer in my dorm room, since it was going to be on all night anyway crunching for genome.

This is the third (fourth? ) Bryson book I've read. He is almost as funny as my idol, Dave Barry.

Easily the best travel writer ever! Bryson is hilarious.
