If you go to the video of his speech starting at approx 23:00, he said that then CIA director Tenet had testified in fall of '02 before the Senate Intelligence Committee that there was a "relationship" between alQaeda and Iraq that stretched back 10 years.

Saddam was a state sponsor of terrorism, and I know it's been 8 years, but just for shits and giggles was there ever a statement from the Bush admin. that said Saddam was personally involved in the 9-11 attacks and that was why we initiated OP: Iraqi Freedom? I can't remember. :shrug:

There was never a serious link between Iraq & binLaden. What litttle connection people formed was not a tenet of the war on terror. There were so many others reasons to destroy Hussein & Sons. Only those looking for a reason to blame Bush carried that link.

It's funny as hell....after nearly 6 months, Cheney is still pulling the liberals chain.

Start looking. It was not the connection between AlQaeda & Iraq....in fact, it took years to find a few sentences that convinced me that the administration ever said a word about AlQaeda & Iraq in teh same sentence.
