Bloomberg on the proposed Muslim community center

I wish you had the complex metacognitive skills of a 3rd grader.

I know it'd be easy that way if I dumbed shit down for you but I'm going to go ahead and keep destroying all the stuff you make up with facts and your going to throw a tantrum and troll at the 3rd grade level when your arguments continue to fail.

No. It's actually a matter that my time is valuable and spending time with you, while entertaining, it a simply a waste of any effort.

What will eventually become evident to you is that; the American people do not want nor have time for people who share your level of disdain of these United States.

We shall see the fruits your deceits have brought forth this November. -- enjoy your irrelevant existence.

dumbfuckistan.JPG is shrinking.

It is not restricting the freedom to worship to suggest that Ground Zero is not an appropriate place to build a mosque and Muslim cultural center called "Cordoba House"......named as a symbol of conquest. It is meant to show the world that the destruction of the Twin Towers was a victory for jihad. To build an islamic mosque there is an affront to all that died there.

Pat Condell: "Without the shield of religion to hide behind islam would be banned in the civilized world as a political ideology of hate......"

Ah, but Cerise, the opposition is suggesting they don't build it here like a two-year old suggests he wants the candy in the candy isle. To throw demeaning definitions of terminology at the issue is no different than saying I wouldn't want a church next to my home because they have graphic pictures depicting cruel punishment like stoning and crucifixion.

As much as I think Fred Phelps is a cocksucker, he has the right to be a bigoted ass. As much as I'd rather see his church bulldozed and replaced with a Walmart, he has a right to have his building stand there.

He just doesn't have a right to pursue and attack others using his spiritual views as justification for being above the law. That is the only place he steps over the line.

Same goes for this community center and alleged mosque. I may not necessarily agree with the religion, but to force them to pick somewhere else opens a huge precedent, one which will no doubt snowball and seriously challenge the final word of the constitution. Don't go there, its just too sticky to get Gov hands involved.

What's next, mandatory zoning of specific areas for the orthodox catholic church? I believe those crazy commies over in the USSR tried to get rid of that religion (along with everything else they didn't agree with) awhile back...

Americans carry legitimate deep seeded feeling about Ground Zero, they believe it to be hallowed ground. WE, meaning most Americans, do not want a mosque to built on or even near grounds of the 9/11 attack. -- Landing gear, that cleared though the building and the people inside it, landed in this very building. Nobody want top hear the "sweetest sound" of the call to prayer as they visit the 9/11 memorial.

Islam is intolerant itself, why don't they open a Mosque/Synagogue combo and lead by example.

Every terrorist attack we have had here originated in a mosque. Mosque are hives where the terror comes from. We don't want a mosque at ground zero.

I know, It has to be awfully frustrating to have the stuff you make up get proven wrong immediately and go nowhere. I feel for ya man.

What will eventually become evident to you is that; the American people do not want nor have time for people who share your level of disdain of these United States.

What is already evident...and has been evident for a couple hundred years is that the American people do not want or have time for people who hate core American values like religious freedom.

We shall see the fruits your deceits have brought forth this November.

We already saw the fruits of your deceits over that last few Novembers. Remember when dumbfuckistan shrank?

Oh your just "suggesting" they limit their own freedom. I guess we'll just go back to ignoring your fear mongering.

Ah, making shit up. The hallmark of a right wing hate argument.

Without freedom of speech hate rhetoric from idiots like would be banned for the bullshit it is.

Hey Cerise, I couldn't help but notice when you were given the opportunity several times you refused to condemn the terrorism against muslims. By your own reasoning that means you support this domestic terrorism and can now be considered a enemy of the state and deported.

No, Americans want to preserve the American ideal of religious freedom.

Islam is intolerant itself,

No, most Muslims are pretty tolerant. You, not so much.

Blatant lie, did you think nobody would check your facts again? We've had terrorism directed against Muslims and Mosques in the last few weeks. I'll just say these people are mainstream Tea Party extremists. We should limit all Tea Partiers freedoms now right? Is that how you do it? Just make shit up and type it right?

ALBANY, N.Y. — A poll released Tuesday found 71 percent of New Yorkers want the developers of an Islamic center and mosque near ground zero to voluntarily move the project.

The poll mirrors the findings of other polls, which show New Yorkers agree the Muslims have a constitutional right to build a mosque anywhere they want. But a majority of New York voters polled so far say ground zero, the site of nearly 3,000 deaths on Sept. 11, 2001, is different.

Where is the muslim sensitivity to accommodating how the majority of New Yorkers feel??

The constitution doesn't guarantee emotional satisfaction of others. I don't have an obligation, nor do you have a right, to have me do things that makes you happy. Even if a vast majority of Americans think they should move, its not up to us to decide for them. Thus the freedom part.

Hypothetical: Why don't women not vote or own land because I don't think women should be in that role? What if I polled and found that a majority of people think the same way? Would the emotion and (un)popular sentiment override the constitutional amendment?

RM, if they are so vehemently against it, they should not visit it.

The government worked. It did its duty. Whatever is left of this thing is all personal emotion, which the Gov has no role in. Unless you're advocating further Gov involvement in private decisions...

No. We have been terrorized by the extreme right and radical Christians too. The Christian Identity movement is a terror hive as well, so perhaps we should make a list of what we approve that you think about and what you believe in?

people keep forgetting that the idea behind many of the constitutional rights is to protect the rights of the few from the tyranny of the majority (or a whining minority AKA the dipshit legion.)

and no, gonz, you are absolutely wrong. gov't and religion should be mutually exclusive IN BOTH DIRECTIONS, as the framers intended.

I suppose I should have clarified myself a little better, I was thinking more along the lines of our current problems. -- 'The current wave of ongoing coordinated terrorist attacks are coming from Mosques.' -- Terrorist Team McVeigh hasn't been very active lately.

Although, since we are discussing individual act of violence, it sure seems that the disenfranchised enlightened ones are providing some violent political statements.

It's funny that so many lefty's are trying to paint the TeaParty as racist while there no facts to support it, the notion the Teaparty is racist is simple fiction created and promoted by the lefty's who need race issues to hold power.

You have to love this guy today. A butt-hurt lefty who feels we just haven't done enough for mother Gaia. He became unstabilized by AlGore's made global warming. -- When I hear of these incident, I always wonder if it might be spike.

Wait, note: -- after the election slaughter this fall there will be many more disenfranchised lefty's turning to acts of violence. -- Delusional thinking does not one part with easily.
