now i'm curious.
is this fear of showering with others something that people grow out of?
i know i never would have bared my white ass in HS, but now I can handle it if i'm working out or something. not something i necessarily look forward to, but i can manage now.

I was bullied in every possible way in school, but somehow they all left me alone in the showers. Although I must honestly say that I lacked some development too, I didn't care. Actually, I think they found another victim... guess what... he was using the private showers.
Moral of this story: kids are mean bastards. It doesn't matter if you remove gym from the equation, they'll find something else.

I don't give a damn who sees me in the shower these days or walking around naked. Heck I was a life model for more than 15 years so there are plenty of drawings and paintings floating about of me on other peoples walls in different poses including the local art galleries and my own.
But many young teenagers are very sensitive about their bodies, it's a time of great change, and I think it's cruel to force them to do something they are obviously uncomfortable with.
