I IM'ed him. He says this is patriotism at it's finest, I think not, All the people giving thier lives across the world for america, and all the politicians trying to improve the standard of living for thier fellow man. Thats patriotism. Sorry if I offended.

Don't kid yourself. Racism, disguised as patriotism, is not a phenomenon reserved for the US. Not to be flippant, but check your own back yard... Blood and Honour - England

You will find this neo-nazi type racist patriotism anywhere you have a population that is of predominantly white European descent, and yes, that includes my own country.

In fact there can be a very fine line between patriotism and racism, in any country. By definition, patriotism is a love for one's country, a strong concern for its welfare and that of its people. It can become exclusionary if you add "above all others" to it. Then it becomes "We" and "Them" where "We" is defined by a commonality, which is usually the race of the individuals that make up the countries population.

So I guess my rambling point was, racism is a global issue, and not one the Americans have cornered the market on.

Spunky do a search for Stormfront uk (I won't post the link here)....try and find some of their messageboards, scary stuff (you might find me on em somewhere....I used to join up and take the piss outa them, nothin' funnier than an angry skinhead :D )

An acronym and a word for you.

BNP and Burnley. Bad enough they got voted in there, because they prayed on peoples fears in the guise of patriotism. However if you look past the vaneer of the hard working normal guy (and the arrogant self righteous attitude), it's a prime example of bigotry at it's finest. Don't forget brother-of-mine, although we like to sweep it under the carpet, we invented racism in its current form.

I didn't say that the british culture was without it's faults, I was merely highlighting an example of white facism...

Had it been british I would have done the same. Also I did check out the combat 18 site, and found it quite laughable, Although that to me seems to be pushing the borders of fanaticism, martyrs my arse theyre a bunch of thugs.

There is no white fascism...there are just plenty of empty headed dolts who wish there to be. No matter how hard you look, you're no going to find a large corporate HQ where the caucasians gather to discuss strategy on keeping the white race superior & holding down the brown skinned ones.
