Elections are on the 28th. The Liberals used to be in the lead, with Conservatives close behind, then the NDP (New Democratic Party) and the Bloc Québéquois right behind them. Now...after the french language and englich language debates...it's starting to look like a Conservative minority or majority GVT will be in palce on the 29th.
After 12 years in power...the Libs are about to be punished the old fashined way...kicked out of office. I can see the relationshop between the USA and Canada changing as well...more "Yes" votes for the Star-wars idea, sale of water across the border, more military spending etc... a more conservative ideology. The cancellation of the gun registry and the money funneled into law enforcement, change in taxation of gas, change in foreign policy etc...
A question to the non-Canadiens. How would you see relations between a Conservative Canada and your country change?
