Anyone else see the new Tom Hanks movie ?Some have compared it to Castaway in an Airport, but I hated Castaway and really enjoyed The Terminal.Well, except for the firealarm that went off with about half an hour left of the film.Had to evacuate and then reenter the theatre and wait while they tried to figure out where the film was when the alarm went off :rolleyes:I couldn't believe people just kind of hummed and hawed on whether they should leave .Remembering that incident with Great White at the Roadhouse, I and the wife vacated pretty quickly.

Back to the movie .Anyone else see it ?

You're married?...Wow..you learn something new everyday.

This film is supposedly getting Jeers from a lot of critics because it is not up to par with Spielberg's usual efforts.

One critic did make a good point though: How are we suppose to find this movie credible or believeble when Catherine Zeta Jones is hired as an Air Hostess....when was the last time your air hostess looked that good?

Haven't seen it yet, but I do keep up with the guys advances in trying to get out of the damn place. I do plan on going and seeing it, even though Mr. Hanks isn't one of my fav actors.

It is based on a true story.. just in case some weren't aware of that.

You should see my two cousins, both flight attendants. They both used to model.

As far as the movie goes, I love Tom Hanks but I was dissapointed in it. It was ok, nothing more.

yeah Hanks really made the movie. It wouldn't have been nearly as good with anyone else I can think of.
I guess that's why he gets the really big bucks.
