Give it a rest? Better yet, hows about if I forget it ever happened--right? Do you think it will go away in your lifetime? Maybe if you ignore it.
I hope you had the same give it a rest thought when terrorist clerics declared that the recent hurricanes were the soldiers of Jihad and were overjoyed that many infidels---that's your fellow Americans---were dead.
This quake? Natural disasters suffered by Muslims are a sign that they should practice Islam more--don'tcha know? Weren't Bush's fault, not even a fault that they built substandard buildings in a known earthquake area and they were sure to fall down.
I'm sure donations will pour in from Al-Qaeda, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hezbollah, al-Jazeera and any other satanic islamofascist organization to help with clean-up and relief. Wait, no need: the U.S. is going to give $50 mil. Wouldn't that money be better used at home to clean up Allah's wrath?
Bless the innocents that have perished or have been injured in this horrible quake. Please let UBL and his followers be counted amongst the dead. Amen.

Frankly, TOO has a point in the first paragraph of the second post. I don't pretend that any amount of hubris on my part will change your mind like TOO apparently does, but if you want to shove that reality to the backburner and not make it the priority at the front of your mind when you read news from around the world, I'd personally have to wonder about your priorities.

Sorry Homey, but every single time anything happens that he can construe or misconstrue as "the horrifying evils of islam" we are treated to another diatribe. I don't know how you get from "give it a rest" to "forget about it altogether" except in imagination. Yes, islamic fundamentalist terrorists are a threat. Hardly the only one, but certainly a threat. Constanly whining about it in no way mitigates the threat, and frankly TOO's diatribes are predictable, boring, and only in the loosest sense based in fact. Well since your being blatently obtuse,I'll point out that Pakistan is helping/aidng the West in the fight against Al Qaeda in Afghanistan,therefore the Extremists are going to point out its Allahs retribution for helping the "infidels". The displaced peoples are now going to be ripe for the Extremists and Pakistans resources are going to be transferred away from the "Fight on Terror" ,so you see Allah is in fact smiling upon the Extremists

They regularly throw celebrations for the entire town not just their community, right now they are ramping up for Eid but far from being the "hate group" you seem to think they are, they are also going to be celebrating Diwali, Christmas and Hanukah. I havn't read the Qu'ran...but I'd bet that those who create the sites that TOO is so fond of quoting haven't either. Those that pick and choose selected bits from the Qu'ran to prove that Muslims make for good enemies and paint all Muslims with the brush of extremist drive me nuts....as much as those who paint all black people with the brush of a few looters in New Orleans.
