I'm bored as hell today. It's cold and rainy outside and I have nothing better to do. Besides, I'm testing out my DSL Xtreme 6.0 connection :p

I'm a registered member of Ancestry.com and have access to census records online from 1790 to 1930. Give me your ancestors full name, DOB, DOD and place of birth. Any other info you have might be helpful. For women, give maiden name. You cam PM me the info and I'll see if I can find the census records and PM them back to you.

SnP, they don't have any Civil War records at ancestry.com. The military records start with WWI. Since the record I posted above is a WWI registration card and the guy was born in 1881, it must be a decendant or a completely different person.

For census record searches, I need date of birth and place of birth most of all. If you know his father/mother/brother/sister, that would be very helpful as well. There may have been several Thomas Gulley's in Tennessee.

It's cause you have it set to three stars...he'd be like 0.5 stars at the most!

Mostly I'm worried that someone would actually name their children that.

If those records were from a hundred years ago, they were less anal about silly stuff. Of course, my wife once did an insurance claim for someone name SyPhyliss.
