I was going to see Shrek 3 but I may not end up seeing a movie now, a friend of mine I haven't seen for awhile is coming into the city, we will likely end up shopping and chatting instead.

Oh, I have no desire to sit in a movie theatre if I'm going to be hanging out with my friend. If I did I would just suggest it, we wouldn't have to be near a movie theatre...We also aren't going to a mall, the weather's beautiful and there's so much fantastic outside shopping to be done, no need to be inside.

I've never seen a movie alone, but I think I would if I had the time and really wanted to see one.

I've never eaten at a restaurant alone though. I think I'd rather take-out and eat my meal at home.

Uh I really want to see the movie. I am more than capable of paying for my own movie ticket thank you very much.

How much is movie tickets where you're at?
Over here is $8.50. I remember thinking a few years back, who the hell would pay $8.50 for a movie?! I guess I would :D

It's pretty stiff here. We only go to matinees these days...unless we are kidless and there is a movie we can not live without seeing. That only happens once or twice a year these days.

We go to the movies on average, maybe every other month? The tickets are about $14. That's $28 for the two of us. I don't mind going alone at all, but am glad the Critter is old enough to see most movies. It's a tad boring not being able to comment on the movie with someone afterwards.

I think I'm gonna watch Pirates of the C. tomorrow. Alone. The Critter has already seen it with a friend, and he's away for a few days anyways.

I actually dunno how much the tickets are at the movie theatre near here, I've only ever been there to see premiers with free tickets. I would guess $14 or so, that's the norm in the GTA.

GTA is "Greater Toronto Area"...I have no idea what you're talking about...
