If the Presidential Election were to be held tomorrow, who would you vote for? (For our resident Canadastanis, assume you had a ballot to cast.)

Too cute for words
Ya left out Wayne Root. Given the current situation it looks like I'll vote for him.

Not exactly. I was trying to be diplomatic and allow y'all to have a chance to experience what it feels like to have a say in who runs things, at least on paper. You do have to live with your decision, and ultimately the decisions of others less qualified to an opinion yet still capable of pulling a lever and wiping the drool off of it when done.

Yeah and thank god for us all that he doesn't stand a prayer in hell of getting elected....

I could handle just about any of them, except for Tancredo, now there is a true wannabe despot and a maniacal megalomaniac in the making.

I have heard all that crazy shit about leaving the country, and I don't know if that would ever be an option, but if there is one candidate that would actulally make me ponder the idea, Tancredo is it. He would ruin this country, if it were up to him. How you can support such a monster, and sleep at night is beyond me. Exactly what I am talking about when I say "christian".

I still say that unless someone steps up and does something to earn my support, I'll write in Jefferson Davis. A dead man beats any option I've seen so far.

because I actually listen to what he's saying, and agree with it.
because he's NOT PC for the most part.
because he Would secure this country, and retain our Liberties.
because he Would give back to the states that which should be regulated by Them.

Tancredo is against a lot of what the contry is founded on. Hell why not just let him wipe his ass on the constitution and write up a new one where "christianity" is law, and immigrants will be shot on sight?

Inscribed on the Statue of Liberty said:
Give me your tired, your poor,
Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
The wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.
I lift my lamp beside the golden door.

I am sure in Tancredo's vision it would be changed to something more suitable like

Tom Tancredo's Vision for 'merica said:
Don't give us your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free,
They should be left for dead as the wretched refuse of your teeming shore.
If you send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed to me.
I'll jail them, send them back or execute them at my discretion.

Oh and Tancredo on stem cell research....I wonder what that jackass would think of it if it was the only way to save his own ass?
