Oh, don't get me wrong - I blame nobody but myself. Totally disagree about the internet being the safest way though - it's the most receptive environment to issues of this nature, but not necessarily the most beneficial.

See the thing is, I will happily assemble/disassemble PCs all day. I've recently tried to get away from that kind of thing because it just wastes too much time (used to spend hours tweaking, building PCs for people etc). Now I have stopped apart from the odd system. I'd think of the money, but...

Ditto. That's half the problem. Oh, I'm not like in *serious* trouble. In fact, I find the whole thing quite amusing from a sort of sado-existentialist point of view and have been known to let go a little chuckle, thinking to myself "how the hell did you let things get to this stage?!"...
