    Obama does Biden

Whether on not racism played a role in the arrest, who knows. I will maintain though…what’s so bad about racial profiling? :P

We´ve seen the musclecars, now lets see what you drive

Re: We´ve seen the musclecars, now lets see what you drive I bought a 2001 M5 about a month ago to replace the aging maxima. It's a great car: super fast, amazing interior, great handling, along with horrible gas mileage.

    Suitcase Nukes not real

The smaller versions of the W54 warhead could easilly fit inside a suitcase (although not the small business suitcases that are often shown in movies). It would be a bear to lug around though, probably about 100 lbs with all the support equipment.

    Wisdom Teeth...

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth removed a couple of years ago with local numbing. They gave me the choice, and I thought it would be fine. I'll tell you now, it wasn't fine.

    Repent ye sinners...

Choice number 3 for me. I'm probably at church 3 out of 4 sundays. I am a Christian, but I still have lots of doubts. I actually eat lunch with the pastor every couple of weeks. It's a good time to hash stuff out and end up in civilized arguement (I wouldn't quite call it a debate). I am...

    Summer Fun

If you make the pond deep enough (more than 2 feet) and plenty wide, most mammals like cats and raccoons usually aren't much of a threat to the koi. The thing that troubles many fish owners are heron. One of them can eat up your entire stock in an afternoon. Fortunately, there aren't heron up...

    Summer Fun

I've been building ponds for the past few summers when I have days off from work. I really enjoy it and would gladly take it up full time if it paid like petroleum engineering. I first started to build them in my parents backyard when I was in high school. I will admit that the first ones...

How to check for the error codes on the maxima: http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecu.html It just takes a couple of minutes and saves you the cost of bringing it to a shop.

    Bought a car today...

I think I missed it somewhere, but what year is the maxima? I've been driving a 1996 for quite a while now and it's treated me well. The things that have needed to be replaced with mine (and frequenty go with high mileage maxima's) are the CV boots, knock sensor, and oxygen sensors. The knock...

    Top 10 gay animals

Do you believe that certain actions are right or wrong? Substitue "wrong" for "evil" if it makes you feel better. And yes, the term "evil" can easilly be used on the topic of sexuality. If rape isn't evil, then what is?

    Top 10 gay animals

If you believe that human actions can be accepted based on the behavior of animals, that is pretty sad. After all, isn't virtually every deed thought to be "evil" frequently seen in the animal world? The debate on human sexuality should never reference other species.

    Springtime in Indiana

Winters in ND seem to last longer than the summers. :crap: I don't miss that horrible humidity though!

*sigh* I wish I was living back in Indiana. Winters seemed to last all of 2 months.

Statistics can be pushed many ways depending on how you want to group the data (and they can all be perfectly correct all at the same time). Here's part of a paper that I wrote a while ago (maybe 2002?); so the data since then has changed some I'm sure. "..Proponents are quick to point...

    One Nation Under God

When I said "Is there anything wrong with that?", I was not referring to changes in society, or the shifting of moral standards. I was referring to the legality of it all. Yes, we are technically a constiutional republic, but what does that change really? Instead of the people voting directly...

    One Nation Under God

The United States was certainly formed with Christian principals in mind. It was no way endorsed as the national religion, but virtually everything that was setup was based around some Christian principal. Now, this being the vastly dominant religion of the day, this was simply the default to...

Percent of adults who are overweight or obese by state

I'm surprised how little spread there is between the states: 51% for the lowest to 65% for the highest. If you looked at the number of people who are only obese, I would venture to say that the spread would probably increase. I too am considered overweight by the BMI standard: 6'6" at 235lbs...

Winter Blast Brings Snow To West LA

Famer's market goes for about 2 months in the town where I live and it's never open past early October. The ones that say they are open till Decemeber usually just open again for Christmas trees. As far as being open in May, I say WTF. It still freezes in May; the only thing they could sell...

    loose change

This makes all for an interesting read, and some people have some really entertaining theories, but they leave more questions then answers. I have a question about all of these conspiracy theories: why is it always just a bunch of film makers who arrive at different conclusions? All the...
