Go Yale!
*daintily waves a fine china cup filled with Prince of Wales tea towards the field*
Huzzah!
You've obviously never been to an Ivy League tailgater. A Mouton Cadet '65 goes quite well with brie at the
correct temperature and is really (or was, anyway) quite reasonable. Of course, the peasants drink theirs out of glass wine glasses instead of crystal, but you just can't reach a certain class of people, you know?
Actually, just like everywhere else, beer was the choice of most fans. Probably an imported beer, but beer none the less.
Note that when I was in school at least, there was a beer/wine/liquor concession at the stadium and a tavern in each of four student unions too.
