The wife person and I are getting ready for our annual snow shoe trip. Looks like it'll be more of a backpacking trip though due to the extreme lack of snow this year. Oh well. It's supposed to nothing but sunshine the whole weekend up on Hood so I plan on taking a bunch of pictures of it as well as throughout the trip. I'll post some after I get back.
Were taking Cathy our youngest girl and James the oldest boy, as well as Dutchess the dog. She (the dog) loves these things.
Anyway we head up to Portland Frday night, take off in the wee hours Saturday for the mountain then come back down early Monday. Monday I'm going to see my brother Justin some so we are coming down early.
It should a good trip but I wish there was more snow up there. Looks like it'll be dry trail pretty much all the way up. Gonna pack the shows on the packs though just in case.
