Birther Alert!

First off, the question was about Obama being Muslim, and he did the spin,
as usual, onto the Birther issue, which he knows is a little More unpopular.

Second.....
Did I just hear Williams say everybody that though Obama is a Muslim,
is the ENEMY of the PotUS?
He's a real piece of crappy work.

He said that the president faced accusations by his enemies that he was a Muslim.

Reversing the statement is not only bad grammatically, but a twist on the intent.

Beyond all that, what if he was a Muslim. Considering the seperation between church and state, how does the president's religion or even lack thereof impact on the position?

I think you don't hear things that are there.

no, i'm just not looking for marginal statements to polarize into something that indicates evil intentions. again, there's plenty of substantive things to critique, and this line of inquiry is silly.

what's happening here is the exact equivalent of some dipshit in the 60's suggesting that a candidate "has nigger blood in him."

First, there is the thing about dual loyalties.

Second, there is that thing about giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

I think the issue is more about if his father, thus obama, had birth allegiance to the British Empire. -- Which would make Obama ineligible to be POTUS

Of course all the press avoids this part of the issue.

Well, who are his enemies then?
Who was he talking about?

Dual loyalties? Like a Roman Catholic President having loyalties to the USA AND to the Pope? Okay. From now on, all Presidents of the USA MUST be ATHIESTS. You write up the petition and see how far you get with it, mkay?

How would his religion equate giving aid and comfort to the enemy? Is Obama a an extremist/terrorist or perhaps you're saying that he's a radically conservative Imam or sommat?

Oh, I get it. You're trying to say that ALL MUSLIMS are the enemy.

No. As in allegiance to another sovereign nation and flag.

Obama's stated father was a British subject, thus making Obama a native born, NOT a Natural Born Citizen as required by the Constitution. See: Vattel.

But nice try, again.

That is exactly what I am saying. ALL Muslims are potential enemies of America and Western culture as a whole.

If you cannot see what has happened in Britain, The Netherlands, France and most of Europe -- and what is taking place in your own country -- then you are blind.

Now, sit on that and rotate.

Considering the seperation between church and state,

Yes, we should consider that. There is no such wall of seperation. The framers were specifically intending to keep government out of religion but they had no inclination to the reverse.

Yeah...like Vatican City.

As for the Natural/Native born citizen... the difference is a large point of contention and has been since before the constitution was ever written.

Hell, the 14th Amendment doesn't use the term at all.

As an aside, the 14th would also disallow Sarah Palin from running for office. It's a shame that her hubby was part of a seccessionist movement, eh.:)

I'm OK with 85 Islamic sharia courts are operating in Britain.
If the Europeans want to turn their countries over to the towelies
then so be it.

But when we have a President that says: A mosque at ground zero
oh yeah I'm up wid dat. And then jets off to Martha's Vineyard for
two weeks, no homey I'm not down wid dat.

I think it's time you be gettin' yo freak ass outta our White House!

>Implying the Vatican is a real nation like all the other real nations.

It is it's own unique thing for sure, but really Bish. Why don't you try to get citizenship there, maybe buy a summer home there?

Hell, the 14th Amendment doesn't use the term at all.

You even have to read as far as the amendments Bish, look at Article II of our Constitution.
No person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty-five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.

It was a rebuttal against the Pope not having it's own flag etc...

The point is that the Pope has a great deal of influence and has been known to try and use said influence in the White House.
