Now...that is a trajedy for the scientific community. Hawking has taken astrophysics so far since he began theorizing about the topic that if we were to look backwards at his start-spot, all we would see is a 'pale blue dot'.
I've always wondered if his sclerosis has hampered his studies, or his ability to properly reach the unwashed masses with his revolutionary thinking or quite the contrary, if his physical limitations have allowed him more time for mental excercises which he might otherwise have spent galavanting about town and getting sloshed.
