Economic woes...

I seem to be in a nearly recession-proof industry. Not as much OT available but I never wanted any to begin with. We've been a bit busier than usual to boot. Gotta love flu season.

An acquaintance who owns a liquor store says he might need some part time help. He's busier than heck.

Gotta do grocery shopping, today, in a bit.
I'm anticipating what the prices might look like.

well just got back from a mid-grade shopping trip.
200 bucks, half store brand, and specials.
That will get us near the first of the month, with what we already had.

My younger brother just got laid off - heʻs a sous chef at a hotel. Iʻm so bummed for him

The lucky thing- if there is a lucky thing in being laid off - is that heʻs single with no wife and kids to support. He also has family nearby and can always move out of his apartment and move in with them *sigh*
