Egyptian president Hosni Mubarak's son who is considered as his successor has fled to Britain along with his family, US-based Arabic website Akhbar al-Arab reported.

The plane with Gamal Mubarak, his wife and daughter on board left for London Tuesday from an airport in western Cairo, the website said.

Riots in the street. Another radical muslim nation?

I dunno man. I'm a little worried about this too, it could go very bad like that.

There are too many factions playing the game to understand it all yet.

Egypt is in the news because it's so BIG, but it's in good company for riots and rebellions.

TUnisia started it all...and now it's Yemen

The whole sand-bowl that is the middle-east has oil and/or natural gas. Egypt exports 43millions tons of natural gas yearly.

But that's not the point, is it? As you may recall, the ink cartridges on that plane to Detroit that got stopped in Britain came from Yemen. It's a weak country with high unemployment and a weakening gvt. Egypt has taken a lot of flack in the past for it's treaty with Israel. It is in al-qaeda's interest to have a destabilized Egypt and Yemen.

Whoever takes over is likely to become a puppet for al-qaeda and certainly not pro-Israel.

That whole thing with the Shah didn't work out very well either.

Maybe it will be beautiful and the moosies will return to their home sands.

Righti0 minxy. Islam is a religion of pieces not your friendly neighborhood cabby making a dime off the infidel.
'Anyone who knows about Islam knows that stoning is in the Koran, and that it is Islamic law. There are people who call it inhuman - but in doing so they insult the Prophet. They want to bring foreign thinking to this country'
We don't need that shit here.

Crazy Africans.

I'm stiiil not sure if this is a good thing or a bad thing.
I figure the current regime will retain control though, if there's no
outside intervention, just like in Iran.
The gov. has all the big weapons.

Your spell check should have caught that you spelled left-wing moon-bat wrong.

I believe these people are fighting for democracy and will unfortunately end up with Radical Islamo suppressive politics.

I've seen a number of moon-bats who are hoping this is just the beginning of a worldwide revolt. :rofl3:
