Well, it comes from IGN.com, a great game reviewing site, and all their stuff is serious but have a touch of weird humour in it. The Photoshop works are some of their trademarks :headbang:

Although, for the fate of Greece, I would hope for it to be a fake :(

That's the pic from when they took that little Cuban boy back from the relatives and shipped him back to his father...

Yeah, that is one of our "Less glorious" days. Don't get me wrong, I think they did the right thing, just maybe the wrong way of doing it.

I'm pretty sure they're sure about it...it was all over the newspapers here too...

It's really rediculous!

It seems to be true folks...

I found this from a Greek news agency archive:

http://www.hri.org/news/greek/apeen/2002/02-02-22_1.apeen.html#10

and then this from the Guardian:

http://www.guardian.co.uk/international/story/0,3604,786133,00.html

I'd be happier with a Greek media source but haven't got hold of this week's Athens News yet...

Feck them.

I'm still going to play Space Impact on my Nokia

wasn't the law made to prevent online gambling? For all I know, the law was never intended to ban all gaming activities...just the online gambling in the online casino's.

I assume they'll make the law a little bit more specific, certainly after all the commotion it caused :)
At least, I hope, 'cause otherwise I might risk going to jail while playing Tetris on my Palm while in Greek..

I know it was anti-gambling, but in true Greek spirit I'd say the law was cobbled together using a crayon on a piece of bog roll without giving much thought as to how it would be interpreted by the oh-so-intelligent law enforcers...

Hehehe, at least you're not the only country experiencing that :D
Not that it's a good thing though...
