Some interesting research was released Friday about a certain kind of medical marijuana.
In a study done on rats, scientists said that a concentrated form of cannabis could generate brain cells. Researchers said that it could also have anti-anxiety and antidepressant effects.
This particular kind of cannabis is not the kind that people smoke for medical or recreational purposes. It is a much more potent form only used in animal studies so far.
But researchers said that this could someday lead to new medications for anxiety and depression.
