Got me another mac

A friend of mine said he was getting rid of an apple II and asked if I wanted it. I said sure. So when he dropped it off at my house, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box.

It wasn't and apple II. It was a macintosh lc III. Joy
I remember the lc II's we used in junior high. So now I have another mac to play with.

I just got into the Mac world, I must say I'm not loving it.

Since I don't use the GUI at all, I find my console experience somewhat limited.
./configure
make
make install

is not as easy as it should be, I'm finding myself in need of modifying the configure and Makefile files in order to get it done.

At least the LC III is a light, thin paperweight instead of a bulky one. The LC series is the Cadillac Cimarron of the Mac world.

Either way, it's a free mac to screw around with.
