Actually I got the feeling its not working now that they are post pubescent.
The kid and I got into a discussion on the way home as to whether or not Ms Rowling OBE would be writing anything else...

Well.. the storyline is following them to true adulthood. This is actually the first movie that their movie and real life ages will be in synch.

They should halt the series at the end of the next movie with the death of Dumbledore and call it a Valdemort win. That would sure piss off the crying teen throngs.

What Unc is proposing is just like the 6th book...he just thinks the whole thing should stop there...no 7th movie.
