I seriously doubt it. The overhead and impracticality in the modern age would obviate their 'legitimate' need... but there just might be a historical exhibition unit out there somewhere.

Well, some fire departments keeps horse-drawn fire wagons around, even if just for show. I wouldn't be too surprised if some Post Offices keep them horses around for show, especially towns with an "old West"-themed downtown.
