It Is an ongoing 'investigation' (national)
All the local media, and county schools are being looked at. (and law enforcement)
I'll let you know if some news breaks. ;)

One local preacher moved to the next county because he said he didn't
want his kids going to the public schools in this hood.:retard:
Then maybe something good will come of it (the investigation). I don't want it to swing the other way (with administrative lead prayers during school time in class) but there is no reason to ban someone from quietly worshiping as they believe. The options for prayer that the Christian student groups use at the schools here are absolutely non-intrusive, non-disruptive and non-aggressive. There is absolutely no reason for the ban whatsoever.

Where the biggest fight is right now is what Jay Sekulow is battling, and
that is the freedom for military chaplains to be able to close a prayer with
the way they are convicted.
Right now, their prayers have to be 'reviewed', and the can't close with the name of Jesus.

Hmmm... I guess it depends on the role of the chaplain. If the role is to administer only to Christians then I don't see a problem. Putting Jesus first in line for worship is part of the Christian belief, isn't it? If the role is to administer to all religious affiliations then I see a problem and a conflict.

So what is the role of a military chaplain? Do you know?

It's my understanding that the solider can request preference if they have one.
It doesn't matter though. The chaplains still can't pray unrestricted, under Any circumstance.
(as the Christian faith goes) I don't know about the Islamic part
