Mozilla + Flash does not = <3

Right, i've been having this problem for a while but i've chosen to live with it... Now i decided to do something about it, though. Alright, here's the deal.
Mozilla seems to be very picky when it comes to Flash and Shockwave. Even though i have the latest version installed(7.x.x) it refuses to play certain animations, like the one in my "A Story About a Mac" thread. Other animations, like the famous "Badger Badger" animation play just fine. Pretty much all animations play fine in IE, so i'm forced to switch to IE when i want to watch certain animations... The horror.
So, what am i doing wrong?
I'm going to bed now, i'll check this thread in ~7 hours.

i think the linux version has some trickery you need to do to make things work perfectly, can't remember what it is though, have you looked at mozilla.org?
