my daughter's day

My daugher turned 10 on Saturday .. normally, in Hawai'i, when your daughter either turns 16 or graduates from high school, you give them a gold Hawaiian bracelet with their name on it .. but, since my daughter is only 10 with no job, but she really wanted a bracelet, I decided to get her one in Sterling Silver instead - and with no name engraved ... it sorta looks like this but is wider and has black enamel bands around it... I'm looking for a better pic of it ...

I asked Katie what she wants for her birthday this morning, she said "Barbie". Isn't 30+ Barbie's enough? ?(

Anyway after some discussion we settled on a computer program, some DVDs and clothes. Great imagination!

She has a really pretty silver heart pendant that my sister gave her for Christmas.
