Only like 15 or so. .. I had to go pull the owners manual to find out ... what a mess.

40 cents a meg on the big stick seems to be the way to go. I was intending to get it up over 150.

My PIII 650 has been a workslave for ages now, i don't game or encode anything on a lappy so i don't think i'd be getting a new one soon.. heck i upgraded that from a 486 lappy, shows how long my cycles take for that aspect of computers

Indeed.

My lappy spends most of its days grinding away doing Distributed Folding. DF likes it if you have at least 150mb of memory to spare past the basics. Its a swift score boost on the cheap. It also gets used as a DVD player and would be more cooperative with the extra juice.

I've done it with a Toshiba Satellite 435CDS (plastic srping clips under the keyboard), but I think every one is different.
