Looks like my Surgeon is on the move... he's moving to University College Hospital in Central London at the beginning of July... I got a letter this morning asking me if I want to tranfer my care there and having thought about I've decided it's a good idea as it's closer to where I live and I don't fancy going through all that shit again with another surgeon... only a 2 hour drive instead of 3 hours... and about 1 hour 15 minutes if I go by train and tube... that's after my op, when I can get around under my own steam again.

I just hope transferring won't delay things too much. :eek5:

Let's hope it isn't delayed more, and even if it is delayed, it should be faster than with a new one. :)

Yeah, logically sticking with your doctor and changing hospitals should be quicker than switching doctors and sticking with the same hospital...although, at least around here, the medical system often doesn't make much sense...I'll wish for a timely surgery for you!
