I use the words printed on the sales brochure. If the factory calls it a BBQ, I don't bother to correct them. That said, I'm treating it as a proper name, not a description.

That said, I got a deal I couldn't refuse. I got one of these ... although an older model ... liquidation priced. I've been calling it the Dalek, but the kids call it R2. It's manual helpfully states how to Grill, BBQ, and Smoke ... all three. Yesterday, I Grilled burgers and hotdogs ... and it worked very well. If the rain ever lets up today, I might fire it back up to BBQ some chicken breasts. Smoking a pork butt will happen sometime in the future.
