this should save us?

all of NASA's budget is just over half of one percent of the Federal Budget

We need Richard Branson to replace our space program?

Minks you are always good for a laugh.

Private enterprise never does anything (for long)
that isn't' profitable. We don't need no steenkin' space program.

Let the Rooskies and the ChiComs do it!

So now that they've cut a department that occupies .06% of the budget
let's get busy

right. which is exactly why we have a space program. private enterprise gets too nervous too quick about ROI. so somebody else has to do the longer term mega projects AND incentivize (through tax breaks) important research that has a long-term payoff but no short-term profitability.

now, you may return to posting about the moosie-commie plots that bounce around in your head....

what's next? get U.S. tot he Greek?

dewd back away from the crack pipe
attacking me isn't going to change the
realities to which I speak

You can't argue against the fact that
government spending has spiraled out of control
and the majority of the American public is against it?

you must really not believe in the spirit of the american people...

OK the illegal beaners, welfare Mom's, food stamp recipients, criminals and most Democrats
are all for continued outrageous government spending, I stand corrected.

You can't argue against the fact that
government spending has spiraled out of control
and that a small minority of the American public are against it?

no shit the government is too big. duh...

you care to address the necessity of government in things like the space program, or are you content just to keep spitting out other stuff in your demonlike rage?

"the necessity of government" hah
next you'll be telling me that you can't imagine
a world without: Department of Education

Fuck no if NASA closed down completely it would make not
one whit of difference at all.

Any idiot can see how to balance this mofo easy as pie

hell a plumber or a truck driver could do it.

yeah. weren't you the one griping about cancelling NASA programs?

and no i'm not going to say anything about the department of ed. obviously they done did a horrible job by turning out so many angry wankers.

yeah i'm sure the guy that puts a new ballcock in yer toilet could figure out the budget mess. and you don't really believe that anyway. if you do, either your IQ score is a lie, or you've been neglecting the old noodle for a long time.

Individual income taxes...$1,100,000,000,000

Where the top 1% pays more than the bottom 95%. Yet, they scream for the welty to pay their fair share.

Have you sent in your "not needed" money yet?

well obviously yer done winky, because you keep going back to the secondary question.

and now of course you'll bitch about me calling it secondary.

yawn.

yes. the budget is fucked. and no, a simpleton could not make it work. if that were the case, it never would have become what it is. cuz, you know, a lot of simpletons do things like aerospace engineering. cuz that's easy too! in fact, they were just talking about replacing me at work with a former letter carrier.

what's next?

Yes it would take a herd of PhD's for fuck things up this badly.

Joe Blow would say: I don't really care what you cut, balance that sucker.

Any Joe Schmoe (or Jane) can balance a check book.

yeah so I'll bite WTF IS the primary question?

yep we could completely do away with NASA which consumes .06% of the budget
and it wouldn't matter one whit either way.

1+1=2.

My monthly budget is, say, $3000. After the mortgage, utilities, food, auto expenses & the like, let's say we have $140. left over. We buy small stuff or save it. If I was in DC, I'd spend $2600. more & ask them to raise the ceiling.

Why can't a simpleton do this? The only differences between me & a Congressman is the number of zeroes. We got this way by everyone giving away money that isn't theirs to people they don't know hoping they will vote for them. 536 bureacrats, plus the tens of thousands of staff, did this.
