where do you fall on the political spectrum

If one is to be able to look at any situation clearly, they must start at the center with a clear view of all angles. Hypocracy is the Only sin, in my opinion. And only by finding the center can one be free of it.... [que giant bong sound]

More ideal perhaps, but not clearer. And he is my biggest hero...I'm over there too but wish I was closer to center.

It's quesstions like

Our nation has many superior qualities.

that seem right wing. Agree=right, disagree=left? Unless you don't like anything about your country odds are your going to pick Right. Not really unbiased or even pertinent.

I agreed with that so why the heck am I a lefty?

Would have thought myself closer to Thatcher.
Exactly. I'm surprised that I'm above the line and not below the line. Weird.

You obviously answered the questions wrongly. :D

I think that question is more about libertarian/authoratarian, not socialism or capitalism. In other words, it is an indicator of your ideas on social and political grounds, not economic. Left/right is economic, up/down is socio-political.

I couldn't get past the first question...

Question 1 said:
If globalisation is inevitable, it should primarily serve humanity rather than the interests of trans-national corporations.

Assumption #1: Globalisation is something which must be controlled by the state and made to serve some end.

Assumption #2: The interests of humanity are not the same as the interests of trans-national corporations.

A person who truly believes in individual rights can't even begin to answer a question like that.
