Why is the sex field required???

I tried to modify my profile but apprently now sex field is required.....Umm..why?

I understand it would nice for some people to know what is the gender of their fellow OTC member but why is it a requirement to make obvious your gender?

fury's good but he didn't write vbulletin. Some things are much more difficult to modify than others.

Because it would defeat the purpose of having the sex field there. Nobody would enter their sex and we'd all be left guessing what sexual organs the person behind all those weird posts has.
