1) you as the parent
2) you as the offspring

I think that's what he's talking about.

If so, then you are only not in control in the second situation for a period of time until you are an adult. At that point you are in control in both situations. Auntie is in control in both situations at this point (as an adult). First as a parent, second as the offspring.
