but they do need to spend some $ on infrastructure to keep us competitive. nobody in the private sector will get that shit done... it's just not in the rational self-interest of "shareholder value."

agreed. i got no beef with building some roads and bridges and such. but let the construction workers do it not the single welfare moms like (I think it was) pelosi's pool boy harry reed wants. show me a bridge that the oprah crowd built and watch me drive around it
