    Obesity is not a sickness

I think some of the morbidly obese --- 100lbs or better overweight --- are addicted to food. I occasionally watch a program about a clinic that deals with the severly overweight--most patients weigh 300lbs and up. And they are truly addicted to food. It is really sad.

    For the California crew

Good thing I live in Texas. I don't have ANYTHING paved on my property that could be deemed a parking area. I'd be up shit creek.

    Culture shock

Those Casa D'Ice pics have been around floating around the 'net for 2 or 3 years, if not more, that I know of. So, those can be discounted in that article. And, as a Southern lady, I can't see any reason not to defend my heritage --- just as anyone from any country would do.

Ron Paul excluded from Fox debate

The biggest problem with the promises --- All the President can do is suggest. The actual power rests with Congress.

Ron Paul excluded from Fox debate

Debate? What debate? I was too busy watching football on Saturday night. Damn good game, too. Actually, yes, I knew the debates were going to be televised, but since I don't give a frozen rat's ass for any of the bodies that are running, I wasn't planning to watch. They all make...

    This day in history.....

1540 England's King Henry VIII married his fourth wife, Anne of Cleves. The marriage lasted about six months. (She was the lucky one) 1759 George Washington and Martha Dandridge Custis were married. 1838 Samuel Morse first publicly demonstrated his telegraph, in Morristown, N.J...

    largest passenger ship

A cruise ship is all about the service. They wait on you hand and foot. Yes, it can get expensive --- but the pampering is worth it. :D And don't forget the entertainment --- most ships have great shows and live entertainment. I was one the Royal Princess for 2 weeks --- and never saw...

    largest passenger ship

And don't forget the room service every day --- your bed made up, the bathroom and the room cleaned. In the evening, your bed is turned down. Heck, on one cruise, the service even laid out our nightwear.

    largest passenger ship

Your food is included if you eat in the dining rooms or the buffets. They do have specialty places that will cost you, such as the pizza parlor. Alcoholic drinks and soft drinks are extra. But with the opportunities you have to eat on the house, I never paid for food on board. I always had...

    largest passenger ship

I love cruise ships. And, SnP, you really don't notice all those people on board. The ships are so large that everyone really scatters out. I think the largest I've been on is the Royal Princess, for 2 weeks out of London to Russia.

    You profane MOTHERFU@#$R?????

Having spent a number of my younger years in working in the pits at auto racing tracks, there are very few words/phrases I haven't heard. Throw in living on an Army base for a year, and I've received an adequate education in the profane. ;) However, unless I'm truly provoked, the words...
