'twas a white Christmas up in Michigan where I went to visit family -- just enough snowfall to see the sky light up as white as can be, not enough to cover my car. Roads were pretty much bone dry all the way back home to Kentucky. Can't get much better than that. :beerbang:

A couple of repairs ago, my cooling fan had to be replaced. The last thing I had to have done to it was the brake line a month or two ago. Since then, I've bought a new battery in anticipation of the old one failing, since the one in it is about 10 years old now. Right now it's running OK...

The iPad has a model with 3G data service so you can connect without having to be stuck on wifi. That one also has GPS. The wifi only one doesn't have GPS and you just connect to the nearest wifi network...
I used to have a severe shortage of batteries... Then I got a box for a birthday or something like that, and ever since, I don't use any batteries. :tardbang: all my stuff has rechargeable batteries now. (iPhone, iPad, mouse, laptops, etc)
I doubt it'd be the ads, they're run by Google. Then again, I don't know what kind of vetting process they go through...wish those warnings were more descriptive and pinpointed what did it. :confbang:
