Icy here too, but not as bad as predicted. They're usually good about getting the salt on the roads before the worst hits so it isn't so bad, but the secondary roads do get treacherous. Unfortunately there's a bit of a salt shortage around here and finding any for our walkways is difficult...

The Bears cost me my shot at winning the confidence pool, though I'm certainly not unhappy about it. Beating the Packers is worth it anytime. (though I would've ended up losing the pool on the MNF tiebreaker anyways) We get healthy and some consistency on offense, we're not dead yet.

At least my power stayed on long enough to see the tornado warning online last time before the sirens sounded around here. Didn't come on for 8 hours afterwards, but at least it wasn't pre-emptively out. :D

Clock's running out here too. I've already used my vacation, plus most of my sick/personal days (lousy year *grumble*), and getting time off in Nov/Dec is difficult. I'd say 'better luck next year', but I always say that (see my avatar).
