hmm.. 800fsb, Hyper Threading, Enhanced IPC, better core processes, ol man at HWC has a 2.4@ 1.15v or something, 3.2Ghz @ default.. more optimizations for thier core and SSE2 from programmers.. AMD got a long uphill struggle against that.

The dark side has not claimed me since my PIII866, even my Northie [email protected] did'nt really take me :D

Prescott is not out till later this year, operton is a new AMD processor that uses an entirely different platform, but so far i think the highest speed available is 2ghz? though it probably the best 2Ghz cpu atm its still only 2Ghz, never mind the high ipc etc.. but for server work its great...

Hehe mine might be an Operton or a Prescott, and if AMD is still in the rut that they are in, Prescott looks more and more attractive daily.
