Is my transmission about to bite the big one?

Makes it kind of hard to tell whether there's metal shavings in the tranny fluid then, huh? :tardbang:

Welp, guess who just got laid off?

There's a spot for the lunch hours on the time sheet, but like I said, I interpreted it like it was optional. I wouldn't intentionally falsify the time sheet.

Is my transmission about to bite the big one?

It slipped once again today, and I wasn't accelerating quite as fast (but still faster than I normally do) I checked it while it was hot, the transmission fluid came all the way to the top of the testing part of the dipstick (the little white part attached to the metal rod)

Welp, guess who just got laid off?

Over here, overtime means working over 40 hours at any given week. I never did that, but just to be sure I asked my store manager what would happen if I had to do overtime, he said it wouldn't be a big deal. If I was called in enough to be doing overtime, it would be by his decision and not by...

PLEASE help!! I think i got a virus

With that device manager being empty, I think you're screwed. You're gonna have to try and do a repair from a windows XP CD, and if that doesn't work, start burning off all your stuff and reformat. There's not usually any other way to fix a major Windblows fuckup like that.

Welp, guess who just got laid off?

The owner told me it wasn't because of my timesheet, he was just telling me for future reference... I guess that means he does plan on having me in the future. :beerbang:

Welp, guess who just got laid off?

I'm pretty sure he would. He told me it was a pleasure working with me. Well at least I wasn't a total failure. :beerbang:

Welp, guess who just got laid off?

Yeah, I just talked to the store manager, he says it was a lay-off not me getting fired... said he hates it and that it was by no means due to my work.

Welp, guess who just got laid off?

I wonder if I can get unemployment checks... :brow:

Welp, guess who just got laid off?

I wasn't marking down my paperwork correctly (I honestly didn't know I could only log hours 9 to 6, nor that a lunch break hour was required) and we didn't have enough business to afford me. The owner (not the manager) says the paperwork wasn't the reason and that nobody was upset...

Welp, guess who just got laid off?

I'll give you 3 guesses... No... Nope, not him either. What? No! OK, I'll tell you. Me. Looks like I'm gonna have a lot more free time. :beerbang:

    Help (kind of an emergency)

The new motherboard was what was bad. I fixed it, I fixed it! :beerbang: Of course, now one of our PC's is out of a motherboard, but hey, treat the customers needs before your own eh? :beerbang:

    Help (kind of an emergency)

Well, the DOS network client install was unsuccessful, so I switched the hard drive out into another computer (with the same mobo). Everything (including network connectivity) worked perfectly except the registry (apparently, the hard drive is bad :tardbang: ) So I put in a new hard drive...
