everyone needs to move out of the burbs; they dont make any sense economically or convenience-wise, but where would we all go? even in "the city" its not convenient to walk everywhere because everything is layed out with the automobile in mind.

apparently some people here are under the impression that the US saved the world from something during, among other wars, world war 1. in that war we helped the biggest of the big european imperialist powers (britain) and co. defeat the newly organized, but up and coming european imperialist...

i'm not sure this clone thing is a new idea. a clone is: meaning the clone and its parent organism have the same dna, kind of like identical twins....

and of course compulsory military service would make men out of the boys. what else is going to put hair on their chests and get them to stop playing video games? and maybe it would make men out of the girls too. that would be great

good point. i've known several people in the military who came out in worse shape financially than when they went in. perhaps living in a situation in which you could die is not condusive to responsible money management.

is the army going to be in favor of this plan? is the government/american people going to want to pay for it? it will cost a tremendous ammount of money to train everyone in the country for 2 years (and it will cost even more when the GI bill is brought into consideration). i suppose the...
