I submitted a design for that contest too. I was thinking about making my own stickers too since I haven't really found anything to my liking. There's a place in town that can make custom stickers and banners and stuff. I might check them out later.

I was thinking about getting some stickers for my laptop. Been scouring the web for ideas but haven't really come up with anything yet. If it's going to be permanent, I want it to be "me". So anyway. How many of you put stickers on their computers and laptops? Got pics? I'll post mine when...

I don't know what version he's going with, but I have a disc I downloaded awhile ago of xubuntu 8.04 Got a machine at home waiting for it. Just need to get a monitor.

I don't post from my house. :P This is my mom's computer, at her place. I currently have no internet at my house, and all my spare monitors are loaned out to other people. :D Edit: That's what happens with being the go-to-guy for pc parts for all my friends and family. A part of theirs goes...

Uh no. First of all, yes, it's twice as much. And secondly, what existing monitor keyboard and mouse? It's an imac. built in monitor. edit: And it's not about getting so much further ahead. It's about playing with electronics, which is what I do. :D Also, I don't need a fast, brand new, mac...

Either way, I'm planning on keeping 8.6 for now as I do not have any macos cds lying around. :D edit: I found a website that apparently still has these. Now I have to get $300 together. :D

I took care of uac on the second day... after I got tired of the extra annoyance. :D I uninstalled a bunch of the trialware and mcaffee. got avg and openoffice going. And several games.

If only I could find one of these I'd be happy. :D But I am definitely going to up the ram and harddrive at least. I think it has the 6gb hdd

I just bought an Acer laptop from walmart for myself. It's the 5515 with a single core athlon 2650e (1.6ghz), 3gb ram, 160gb hdd, dvd burner... and vista home basic :blank: I've been playing with it all weekend and I like it. It's not my dream laptop (alienware area51m or dell xps) but for...

I don't know yet. I didn't look it over too well. I left it at my house and am at a friend's right now. All I know for now is that it's running macos 8.6 Edit: I'll let you know more tomorrow. But it is one of those all-in-one jobs. With the translucent sides.

Speaking of spare macs, I just got a free imac tonight. :D It was given to a friend of mine who turned it on to see if it worked. But since he doesn't use macs and didn't care to learn how, he said I could have it. I need to get a mouse for it though.
