10th dimension

I was starting to think this thread was becoming the less successful of all time :lol:
 
I think the compact dimensions and braneworld theories are pretty chill. And bosonic string theory is like crazy with the 26 dimensions.

Well, yeah, if you take the 4th dimension as time. But in some theories it isn't necessarily time, and it is another spatial dimension (i.e. x,y,z and w). The tessaract for instance is the 4th dimension (in space) analog of a square (2D) and cube (3D).
