For those of you in states that observe daylight savings time...it ends at 2AM.

Can we do away with DST? The damned mules are called tractors & have headlights these days. If the amish don't like it, well, come on online & let me know.

I'll tell you what. The number one reason I like Windows 2000 better than Windows 98 is because instead of telling you that it changed your clock for DST and making you verify the settings, it just does it and gets on with life without bugging you.

Yes, I just noticed that tonight. I turned on my comp expecting to see Win2000 telling me it changed my clock, and nothing, though it WAS changed. I thought "huh", can't argue with that.

Same thing happened here in the UK last night, only we call it BST - British Summer Time.

I got up at 7.50am thinking it was nearly 8am and it was nearly 7am..... I noticed it on my computer.

I'm actually surfing with my daughter's computer at the moment... updating Win 98 after putting in a new 40GB hdd.... just wondering what shes' gonna do with all that space.

Actually, this is flipping back to standard time from daylight savings... so you should have been adding an hour all summer instead of subtracting one for now.
