WhiteSox (last 1959, last won 1917) vs Houston, just the year after RedSox & the Cubbies came so close. What the hell is George Steinbrenner doing???? Next thing you'll know, Phoenix Coyotes will win the Stanley Cup.

Well, the Astros are only hated a little less, so it'll do more damage to Cubs fans than if, say, Atlanta or San Diego were in the series.

We don't have a huge rivalry with Houston. Yeah, we've been beaten to death in the Astrodome. We've still won more titles than they have, even if they do win this year. (yeah I know, whoop de doo, but we gotta have something) It's the insufferable Sox fans that make us root against them. Oh yeah, their TV announcer makes it twice as bad. It doesn't matter, the Sox will never be the top team in this town, even if they win this year and next: Chicago is a BEARS town, and they're in first place right now! (at 2-3, but first nonetheless )
