LOS ANGELES (AP) - A judge sentenced Paris Hilton to 45 days in county jail Friday for violating her probation, putting the brakes on the hotel heiress' famous high life.

Hilton, who parlayed her name and relentless partying into worldwide notoriety, must go to jail by June 5 and she will not be allowed any work release, furloughs, use of an alternative jail or electronic monitoring in lieu of jail, Superior Court Judge Michael T. Sauer ruled after a hearing.

Isn't that a similar sentence to what a common peon would get for the same thing? Amazing!

Proof that we have our priorities right... it's football players that should be able to get off easy, not slutty socialites.

It's not even a priviledge, Gato, it's a skill. A skill that's not required to get your license anymore, but a skill none the less.
 
She was told by her publicist that she cold still drive if it was for work. Evidently, being a skank-ho is a full time job.
