I think I've heard some talk about this apparently new type of spam but wasn't having the problem at the time. Now that I'm getting these pop-ups constantly I wish I had paid more attention.

I think they're just Netsend messages and there's an easy way to disable them. Hopefully someone here has the scoop.

Is this really an effective marketing method?
