Acceptance vs tolerance...

Yet another play for acceptance is being hyped in the news. He goes against his church, and causes problems, and now he wants equal footing with all others. This is the kind of thing I find appalling. He could've formed his own group, but, in order to force his agenda on others, he chose to remain in the position he was elected into. Now he's complaining because the rest of the council won't give him equal footing. The main body of his church speaks negatively and openly about his lifestyle choice. Always has. He knew for a year that he could not fully participate in the event. He is the definition of the term "Drama Queen". He should be glad that he's even tolerated at the conference...

NEW YORK - The first openly gay Episcopal bishop announced he will have no official role in a meeting this summer of world Anglican leaders, saying restrictions that organizers wanted to place on his involvement had caused him "considerable pain."

New Hampshire Bishop V. Gene Robinson had been told last year that he could not fully participate in the once-a-decade gathering in England, called the Lambeth Conference, as the world Anglican Communion sat on the brink of schism over his 2003 election.

caused him "considerable pain."

As much as a stick to the groin?

As a rock to the temple?

As fire anywhere?

Or just another whimpering whiner looking for a sympathy play & making shit up?

We are all born equal. It's what we do with the rest that changes that (as it should)
