Attorney General nominee until later today when he's confirmed is catching hell from the Dems. No surprise...save one.

Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, D-Mass., told Gonzales that policies he supported or helped formulate "have been used by the administration, the military and the CIA to justify torture and Geneva Convention violations by military and civilian personnel."

I'm curious. Could Teddy point out the section where it says that terrorists are protected combatants? I think not.

If hes not the Attorney General yet, why are they railing him for administration policies that he had no part in creating? That just sounds so silly to me.

Because he was part of the department, and helped shape policy even though he couldn't enforce that policy...
