Anyone here uses Tor?

I want to use Tor when I log into my email, but when I get to the log in page it shows the https padlock with a line through it. Why does it do that?

I've never used it, I have used freenet thou. I assume it works in a similar fashion. If your connection is working properly it should connect through a local loopback and then the program routes traffic through tor.

As for the padlock with a line through it, I think it indicates the page is not completely encrypted. Sometimes images and other things are sent via http. That shouldn't happen in Tor as the whole point is to have a secure communication.
